Moina M. Bey MS. LAC

Primary Therapist

I receive great satisfaction working in the Mental health and substance abuse field because I enjoy helping others with their life challenges. My first summer job as a child was working at a Developmentally disabled day care for children and adults. It was a joy to see the wonder and exploring possibility with the clients there. I want to be a part of helping other accomplish their hopes and dreams in their life.

I am a person centered therapist, I believe in meeting people where they are. I use Cognitive behavioral therapy in my approach with clients. I believe how we perceive the world is important and there is great benefit in being able to change our perception, in order to change our thinking and behaviors.

I most rewarding part of my job is that light bulb moment when a client no longer needs me in their life.

I have a great sense of calm, that has been beneficial in helping many people of diverse backgrounds. I am an active listener and I have a genuine concerns for all people of the world.

I was born and raised in Philadelphia PA, I am one of six children. I attending Purdue University in Indiana for my bachelors’ in Psychology and my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling. I love the outdoors and enjoy camping, fishing , hiking, off roading. I enjoy being creative, with a passion for art, drawing , painting, sculpture, and sewing.
